I was born in Vancouver, as were my father and grandmother. I was raised in the suburb of Port Moody at the eastern end of Vancouver Harbour/Burrard Inlet, and graduated from Port Moody Senior Secondary. After high school I attended the University of Victoria (UVic). After my years at UVic I travelled the world before settling down here in the City of Van couver.
I live in the False Creek area with my wife and three young children. This is a wonderful and unique area of the city with the great Seawall multi-use path running through it, and just minutes from one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, Granville Island, and the Granville Island Public Market.
Vancouver is a great city where one can enjoy the best of urban life and the best of the outdoor world all in one place. I enjoy running along the Seawall, taking my kayak out for a paddle in False Creek and English Bay, and mountain biking on the world famous trails of the North Shore. With the kids we can often be found visiting the Vancouver Aquarium, Science World, or one of the many beaches around the city.
