False Creek Kids: Register for Little League Soon

False Creek South is divided in two rather uneven halves when it comes where you kids will be playing little league. If you live east of Granville St or Anderson then you are in the catchment area for Little Mountain Little League. But if you live west of there you fall into the catchment for Jericho Little League. There seems to be some discrepancy in their catchment maps where Little Mountain claims all of the downtown peninsula west of Main St, but Jericho also claims downtown, but only west of Granville.

Little Mountain is where my little guy plays and it has been great the last two years that we've been playing. Their registration starts on the January 26th & 27th weekend at the Hillcrest Park Clubhouse at 4595 Clancy Loranger Way (just west of Nat Bailey) or you can dowlnload the forms and drop them off at the clubhouse mail box anytime now.  I have no experience with Jericho. If you have any insight into their program I'd love to hear about it. Their site says "Registration is estimated to start on 21 January."
