Spring Break Theatre Festival Brings Theatre for Kids to False Creek
Spring is just around the corner and if you are not jetting off the somewhere tropical or heading out to the cottage, then the kiddies might get a little squirrelly. Well one solution is to turn off the wii, DS, X-box or PlayStation and head on down to the Arts Club Revue Stage for the Spring Break Theatre Festival. With performances also taking place at venues in Burnaby, West Vancouver and Surrey the Spring Break Theatre Festival sounds like a great opportunity to introduce the kids to some live theatre. Maybe some little thesepians will be born.
The Festival doesn't seem to have a website, but the Arts Club has the performances at the Revue Stage up on their website. The performances include:
Robinson Crusoe
Des Flocons Pout Alicia
The Big League
The Creative Kid
and Derwent is Different
You will find write-ups on the shows in the Festival brochure (I picked mine up at the False Creek Community Centre) and on the Arts Club website.
