Philospher's Cafe at the False Creek Community Centre This Thursday

I have been meaning to mention the monthly Philosopher's Cafe at the False Creek Community Centre for a while now, but it keeps slipping my mind (or my my mind keeps slipping, I'm not sure which). The first Thursday of the month is when it happens and this months subject is:

Media and public opinion
A true democracy is based upon the idea of a lively public sphere where discussion and debate can occur. Media represents one of the main vehicles for this discussion. Is it accomplishing its role? (web)

The cost is just $5.00 and it starts at 7pm. No further events are listed on the website so I don't know if the series will be continuing. If you are not sure where the False Creek Community Centre is take a look at my False Creek Google map. Its on Granville Island, beside the tennis courts.
