False Creek Websites

There are number of useful websites out there about False Creek. Not a very big number mind you, but its more than one. I hope this is one of them.

The one I want to mention today is one that I just found on CMHC's GranvilleIsland.com. It is www.granvilleislandartists.com . This is a pretty cool and modern website.  It must be using some fancy website technology like AJAX, that I have heard of, but have no idea how how it works. It is just a map of the Island and as you move your mouse around the map little boxes pop-up (they are not the dreaded "pop-ups") with information about the artists that work in that space. It is a great way to virtually tour the Island and maybe find who is doing what on parts of the Island that you don't always get to. Take a look!
