False Creek Housing Cooperative Opens It's Waiting List

One of things I've always wanted to do, but have so far failed to do with this blog was to cover the various types of housing available in False Creek. Well, I have my first story on the subject as the False Creek Housing Cooperative opened it's external waiting list recently and is now accepting applications.

The False Creek Co-op is in 2 sections, or enclaves as they are called, on either side of Charleton Park.  They are the beige buildings with the steeply pitched red roofs. There are 1 bedroom apartments and 2, 3 and 4 bedroom townhouses. You can find the application on their website here along with lots of other useful info. Curiously I could not find housing costs (it is not called rent in a co-op) on that site, but did find them on the Cooperative Housing Federation British Columbia website.
