Halloween in False Creek

I have to say that Halloween is one of the best nights of the year in False Creek. With the density we have and the large number of townhouses (vs. the trick-or-treating unfriendly condos) False Creek South is a trick-or-treating dream for the kids, and even a trick-or-treating destination.

There were a couple of great events for kids at the community centre this past weekend and I am sure that there is usually something there on Halloween itself, but I see no notice of it on their website. Over in False Creek North though the Roundhouse Community Centre is having a Halloween Carnival tomorrow from 3:30 - 7:30.

Dress up in your creepiest costume and participate in ghoulish games and creepy crafts! Come and explore our "Creepy Hollow" forest full of spooky surprises and fun activities. There will be face painting, menacing music, spooky surprises, and each child will receive a bag of Halloween goodies! Fun for the whole family! Children must be supervised by an adult. $5.00/child pre-registration required

We have managed to acquire 6 pumpkins this year, we still have one to carve, 2 sets of Halloween lights and a now I see how Halloween has become the 2nd biggest spending "holiday" of the year. Only one costume remains to be figured out, as the little man decides between the Spiderman and firefighter options. As you can see he kicks some serious but as Spiderman, and does a bit a calender thing in the red firefighter suite.
