Things to do in False Creek: Pick of the Fringe

I failed to write about the Fringe Festival itself but now that is over and all that is left is the Pick of the Fringe I have been inspired (remembered) to jot something done here. The Pick of the Fringe are the 4 best showes from the Festival as voted on by the audiences. This year they are:

1. Crude Love, written and performed by Vancouverites Gillian Bennett and Russell Bennett
2. The Shakespeare Show or How an Illiterate Son of a Glover Became the Greatest Playwright in the World, by Vancouver writer Ryan Gladstone
3. The Musical of Musicals, The Musical!, produced by this city’s Fighting Chance Productions
4. A Man, A Magic, A Music, is performed by Movin’ Melvin Brown from Texas.

Nice to see that Vancouver audiences voted 3 of our own into the top 4. These showes will all take place at the Waterfront Theatre starting today and running through Sunday the 21st.
