Can't Afford to Buy? How About Can't Afford to Rent

LOGO Rental Assistance ProgramI was interested to see a ad. in Vancouver Courier on Friday for BC Housing's Rental Assistance Program. I had never heard of this program before, but it seems like a great one. Vancouver is a very expensive city to live in. To make the program even better the Province has recently increased the maximum household inclome ceiling from $20,000 to $28,000 per year.

The basic criteria to qualify are pretty straight forward. You must have at lease one child under 19, have lived in BC for the past 12 months and have been employed at some time in the last year.
