Vancouver Festivals: The Vancouver International Childrens Festival
The
Vancouver International Childrens Festival is returning for its 30th year this May 14th - 21st. This is a great event in a beautiful location at Vanier Park on the tip of Kits Point (
click here for Google map). This years schedule boasts some great childrens performers from Vancouver and around the world. There are acrobats from Kenya, water puppets from Vietnam, and Flamenco from Argentina and Spain as well as well known childrens entertainers, Rick Scott and Pied Pumkids and Charlotte Diamond among many others. All of these events are ticketed separately from admission and the costs can add up, but there are lots of great Festival Activities that included with your General Admission (8.00/person, and multi day passes are also available).
