Things to do in Vancouver: The Vancouver International Fringe Festival
Interested in a little live theatre, but find mainstream theatre a little uptight, well the
Vancouver International Fringe Festival is back from September 6 - 16th. This is fun theatre. There will be over 80 different groups performing at venues around the city (although the event is focussed around Granville Island). The festival kicks off on Septmeber 5th with the
Opening Gala featuring a silent auction. Open every night during the festival will be the
Grolsch Finge Club where you can check out some free shows. New this year is the
Encore Series which will feature international fringe favourite back in Vancouver for a 2nd time(including Charles Ross' One Man Star Wars Trilogy).
