Recreational Property Podcast Now Available
So you had a great summer. Maybe you rented a cottage somewhere, or visited a friends place for a few days. Now you are thinking that a place of your own sure sounds nice and there are so many options to consider
these days. Places on the Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands are great, but what about those ferries. The line-ups can be horrendous. How about a shorter ferry ride to the Sunshine Coast? A drive up to the Okanagan, or maybe the Caribou or the Kootenays. With the dollar almost at par and the US housing market still in the dumper some Vancouver-ites are now considering going south of the border, but then you have border line-up hassles and lots of legal issues to consider.
There is a lot to think about. Travel time. Will you rent it out when you are not there? Who will look after that? Will you use it year round? And what about the pine beetle?
In this podcast Royal LePage president and president and CEO, Royal LePage Real Estate Services, and Joan DalBianco, vice president, Real Estate Secured Lending TD Canada Trust discuss 2007 Royal LePage Recreational Property Report and trends in the recreational property market.
