Things to do in Vancouver: The Rogers Santa Claus Parade
It seems that it was just a few years ago that you could hardly find a parade in Vancouver, other than the (Gay) Pride Parade. Now was have the St Patrick's Day Parade, the Parade of Lost Souls (okay its actually been around quite a while, but its REALLY popular now), and this weekend we have the Rogers Santa Claus Parade on Sunday at 1pm. I've yet to catch this one so maybe we'll pack up the kids and head over the bridge to check it out. If you are going be sure to bring down some non-perishable food items for the food bank, or better yet a big fat wallet full of cash.
You can even have breakfast with Santa at the Fairmont Waterfront Centre hotel from 10am to Noon. See the parade website for details.
