Vote for Vancouver on the World Monoploy Board
Have you heard? Vancouver is in the running to be included in the latest Monopoly Here & Now: World Edition. Matel will choose the cities that will make the board based on voting on their website. Twenty cites will be nominated and then you will be able to vote again for the cities that will actually make the board. In fact there are three Canadian cites in the top 20 right now with Montreal leading the world with 4.8% of the vote. They have a significant lead on the next closest city, Paris France with 3.6% of the vote so far. Who knew the French (Canadian and French) were such big monopoly players. Next up is Vancouver in 10th 2.6% of the vote and then Toronto in 15th with 2.2% of the vote. We are the only country in the world with three cites in the running.
Winnipeg and Quebec City are also just off the leader board in 23rd and 24th.
Time is running out. Voting will end at the end of February for the nominations and then voting will start for the for cities that will actually make the board.
So vote now and vote often.
