Fun on Friday: Lunar Eclipse in Saskatoon, Vancouver Blogger Meetup, and a Winterruption
So there was a lunar eclipse the other day. I missed it, but my blog buddy and great Saskatoon REALTOR® Norm Fisher took some great pics of the eclipse there in Saskatoon.
Tonight is the Vancouver Blogger Meetup. It is being held right after the first day of Northern Voice, which I am sadly missing. This will be my first Van. Blogger Meetup and I am excited about it, especially
y since Voxant.com will be there and is providing drinks in support of the Frozen Pea Fund for cancer research.
In closing it is an amazing day in Vancouver again. Warm, even in the shade and even by the water. I was down at Granville Island and people were busy setting up for the weekend's Winterruption Festival events. Most interesting were the ropes that were being set up hanging from the concrete bridge supports for the Aerial Dance: Cold Hands, Warm Heart event that will be taking place under the bridge on Saturday & Sunday (10 min sets between 5:45 - 7PM - FREE). I am not sure how many events we'll make it too this weekend as its my eldest's birthday weekend, but left me know how it was if are down there.
