Chandler Developments Sends Two Projects in Receivership: H & H and Garden City

Not Chandler again! Didn't we have enough about him last year. He too has run out of money and his H & H and Garden City projects are too be completed by someone else. CBC broke the news just after midnight last night on their website. Take a look.

I have to run right now, but I wanted to get the news out there. Hat tip to Victoria REALTOR® Tim Ayres for the head-up on this one. Commentary to follow.

This is an old story that happened to tie in well with the Eden Group Story. They have been in receivership for awhile already. Check the facts.

Also the project is going to be completed on schedule

Dan,  All the facts seem right up there in the post. The projects ARE in receivership. Chandler WAS the developer. Someone else WILL finish them. And I made no mention of any delays in completing H&H.

If they have been in receivership for some time please fill us in on the details. I could find no mention of it online or on a quick search on the BC Supreme Court site.

I'll get back to digging into this after lunch.

the bowra group is the appointed receiver, they have submitted a report to the court on Jan 25th 2008. you can find a copy on our blog: wisdomous.com. H+H will be finished for sure as there is enough equity there to do that. however it will NOT be finished on schedule (APril 2008)  there are issues with the development: 1) permits for the redesigned penthouses 2) ground water contamination from an old gas station that used to be on the property.

Wisdomous, Thanks for the update on H+H and Garden City. I'll have to read that report some time when I have a minute.
