I Love This Virtual Tour Part 3
I started writing Part 3 about a different great feature of the Obeo virtual tours I use on all my Vancouver listings back a while ago, but it got lost in the shuffle of draft posts. This week Obeo announced an even better feature so that other feature will have to wait for Part 4 of this series.
Sharing and Embedding
This new feature is the ability to share the tours and embed them on almost any blog or website. This creates the ability for these virtual tours to become truly viral. When someone views one of my Obeo virtual tours the have the option to directly email the tour to a friend, or they can just get the link and copy that into an email or a website, they can even share the tour on a variety of social networks and social bookmarking sites. It is the embedding feature though that is the most powerful. Embedding is what happens when you see a Youtube video on a site that is not Youtube. Now the virtual tours of homes that are listed with me have the ability to spread across the web just like Youtube video do. I can also add them to a variety of other websites. I have added one to the tv.604homes page as an example.
I think this along with the features that I talked in Part 1 and Part 2 of this I Love This Virtual Tour series make these by far the most powerful virtual tours available today.
