CAMBIE
The Cambie area stretches from Ontario Street in the east to Oak Street in the west, and from West 16th Avenue in the north to West 41st Avenue in the south, It is characerizied by character homes along leafy tree lined streets. Along the main streets of Cambie and Oak you will find low and midrise condominiums.
Between West 16th Ave and West 20th Avenue there is a quaint shopping area, and the classic Park movie theatre. At West 41st and Cambie St is Vancouver's biggest shopping mall, Oakridge, and at West King Edward Avenue at Oak Street is a strip mall with a grocery store and other services.
The Cambie area also features Vancouver's 2nd biggest park, and the highest point in the City of Vancouver, Queen Elizabeth Park. There is also Nat Bailey Stadium, home to the Vancouver Canadians, a minor league baseball team. And BC Children's Hospital is also located in the Cambie area. It is located at Oak Street and West 30th Avenue.
